A proud Mancunian now living in Shrewsbury with my husband Matt
and our two daughters, Josie and Agnes.

After more than 20 years working as an actor and teacher, I trained as an
independent celebrant in 2025, gaining a diploma in weddings, funerals and naming ceremonies.

My path to celebrancy came from seeing too many funerals that didn’t truly reflect the person being remembered, and too many wedding ceremonies that felt generic and forgettable. I believe every life is unique, and every ceremony should be too.

For years, friends and family have asked me to lead their special moments, from marrying my sister and her husband to hosting countless weddings and celebrations.
Becoming a celebrant felt like the natural next step.
