Naming Ceremonies
Naming Ceremonies
Welcoming a child into the world is something truly special, and it deserves to be celebrated.
A naming ceremony is a joyful way to introduce your child to family and friends, celebrate who they are, and recognise all the love and support that surrounds them.
It’s a chance to mark the beginning of their journey with a ceremony full of warmth, laughter and meaning.
Together, we can celebrate their name, their uniqueness, and your family story. We can also include the important people who will help guide and support them through life; whether that’s guide parents, godparents, grandparents, siblings, aunties, uncles or even wonderful “spare parents”.
Every family is different, so every naming ceremony should be too. It can be sweet and simple, fun and playful, or full of personal touches, readings, promises and rituals that feel right for you.
And it’s not just for babies. If you’ve never had the chance to celebrate your child in this way, it’s never too late. Naming ceremonies can be held at any age: for toddlers, older children, teenagers or even adults.
Whatever stage you’re at, I’d love to help you create a ceremony that celebrates your child and the family and community around them.
